The Role of Berries in Pokémon Platinum
Berries add an extra dimension to the battling, collecting, and performing that make up the gameplay of Pokémon Platinum. From cost-effective medicine to in-game currency, you’re guaranteed to find plenty of uses for the 64 different types of Berries you’re able to discover in Sinnoh.
This section details the many reasons why investing in Berry farming is worth your time.
Berries as Medicine
Some of the most common Berries in the game can serve as basic medicines for replenishing HP and curing status conditions. This can be an extremely cost-effective way to keep your team in top form during long treks through dangerous areas like caves, forests, and mountains.
For instance:
Poison is one of the most common status conditions in the Pokémon series, and an Antidote typically costs 100p. This can cost you thousands of Poké Dollars over the course of the game—but by spending just a little time cultivating Pecha Berries, you can achieve the same level of protection for no money whatsoever.
Berries as Held Items
An added bonus is that certain Berries will be used automatically in battle, healing your Pokémon without you having to waste a turn using an item.
A good example is the Sitrus Berry.
A Pokémon will automatically consume a Sitrus Berry when its health falls below 50%, healing it for a quarter of its maximum HP without you having to act.
Berries as EV Training Tools
Training EVs, or Effort Values, is a vital part of playing Pokémon competitively. It gives you control over your Pokémon’s strengths and allows you to compensate for their weaknesses.
But you can run into complications if you aren’t carefully monitoring your Pokémon’s battles.
It’s easy to make your Pokémon earn EVs you don’t intend for them to gain, which is a problem since each Pokémon can only earn a certain amount of EVs in total. Berries can help with that.
Certain Berries will lower a Pokémon’s stat by 10 EV points while simultaneously adding 10 points to its Friendship stat (unless the Pokémon’s EV points in that stat are above 110, in which case they will be lowered to 100).
This can also act as a handy way to tell roughly how many EV points a Pokémon has in a particular stat, something the Pokémon games are typically secretive about.
To figure this out, simply save the game and use the appropriate Berry repeatedly on a Pokémon until its EV points hit 0. Count the number of Berries you needed to reach that point, and multiply that number by 10 to get a good estimate of the Pokémon’s EV points.
Note: Remember to reload your game afterwards!
Berries as Poffin Ingredients
Poffins are special treats made from Berries that you can feed Pokémon in order to raise their Contest Condition stats. These stats influence how well your Pokémon perform in the different categories of Hearthome City’s Super Contests.
To make and use Poffins, you’ll need to grab the Poffin Case from the Chairman of the Pokémon Fan Club. Then you can start cooking Poffins yourself at Hearthome City’s Poffin House.
Creating Poffins takes the form of a minigame, which can be played either alone or with other players.
The objective is to spin the Poffin batter in the direction indicated on the screen without burning it (by spinning it too slowly) or causing it to overflow (by mixing it too quickly).
The type of Poffin you make depends largely on the Berries you use to make it.
Different types of Poffins will influence different Contest Conditions and to different degrees.
The key to winning Super Contests is using the right types of Poffins to accentuate your Pokémon’s greatest Contest strengths.
Berries as Currency
A woman inside the Pick a Peck of Colors Flower Shop in Floaroma Town will sell you exclusive fashion items in exchange for different types of Berries.
Fashion items are used to dress up your Pokémon, both at the Jubilife TV station and in the Visual Competition of Super Contests.
You’ll find the clerk in question standing behind the counter inside the Flower Shop.
The following is a list of the fashion accessories you can purchase from her, as well as the Berry cost attached to each one. Bear in mind that as non-consumable items, there is a limit to how many of each accessory you can buy.

Berry Basics (Planting & Growing Berries)
It’s easy to get into Berry gardening. But getting the most out of your harvests calls for an understanding of the underlying mechanics of growing them.
This section will run you through everything you need to know to help your Berry plants thrive.
Planting
Planting a Berry is a simple process:
As long as you have Berries in your inventory, you can just walk up to an empty Berry Plot and press A.
Select Yes, and the Berry pocket of your Bag will open up for you to choose one Berry to plant.
Once selected, the Berry will automatically be planted.
Soil Drainage & Moisture
Soil moisture factors heavily into the number of Berries you’ll ultimately grow from a single planting—if you don’t water your plants, you’ll end up with a poor harvest.
Moisture level is measured on a scale from 0 to 100.
When you plant a Berry, its soil starts at the maximum moisture level of 100 and is reduced every 60 minutes afterward.
The amount that a plant’s moisture is reduced is dependent on its drain rate.
For instance:
If a newly-planted Berry with a drain rate of 15 isn’t watered, its moisture level will be 85 an hour later, then 70 an hour after that, then 55, and so on. Watering a plant will reset its moisture level back to 100.
You can get a good sense of a Berry Plot’s moisture level by the color of its soil:
- If a Plot’s soil is dark brown, it has a moisture level between 51 and 100
- If the soil is orange, its moisture level is between 1 and 50
- If the soil is a light gray color, its moisture level is 0
Once a plant reaches a moisture level of 0, the number of Berries it ends up growing will drop by 20% of its maximum value for every hour it stays dry. The minimum amount of Berries that a plant will produce is 2.
Being aware of how often different Berries need watering is the key to cultivating healthy plants.
The table below lists the drain rate for every Berry type in the game.
Berry Soil Drain Rate | |
---|---|
Berries | Drain Rate |
Liechi, Ganlon, Salac, Petaya, Apricot, Lansat, Starf | 4 |
Occa, Passho, Wacan, Rindo, Yache, Chople, Kebia, Shuca, Coba, Payapa, Tanga, Charti, Kasib, Haban, Colbur, Babiri, Chilan | 6 |

Lum, Pomeg, Kelpsy, Qualot, Hondew, Grepa, Tomato, Spelon, Pamtre, Watmel, Durin, Belue | 8 |
Figy, Wiki, Mago, Aguav, Iapapa, Cornn, Magost, Rabuta, Nomel | 10 |

Razz, Bluk, Nanab, Wepear, Pinap | 35 |
All Berry Tools
If you only want to do the bare minimum when it comes to Berry farming, you can simply drop Berries in Plots and come back to them when they’re grown. But this hands-off approach will guarantee that you only harvest the minimum number of Berries from every one of your plants.
Watering and fertilizing the soil of your plants will ensure a much more productive yield.
Depending on the Berry, you can often harvest over a dozen fresh Berries from a single planting by tending to the sprout’s needs over the course of its lifespan.
The following tools will help you achieve bountiful harvests.
The Sprayduck Watering Can
The Sprayduck is a Psyduck-shaped watering can that you can use to moisten the soil of Berries you’ve planted. You can obtain the Sprayduck as early as your first visit to Floaroma Town from a woman inside the Pick a Peck of Colors flower shop.
The Sprayduck makes watering foolproof.
First, face a planted Berry that has dry (lighter-colored) soil and press A. You’ll be shown a message explaining which Berry is planted in the plot.
When asked if you want to water the soil, select Yes.
And that’s it—you won’t have to worry about watering the soil again until it dries back up.
Tip: Unlike in past games, you can move left and right across a row of Berry Plots as you’re watering; you won’t need to use the Sprayduck repeatedly on the same row.
Watering Berry plots isn’t a mandatory part of cultivating Berry plants.
However, letting a Berry plant grow to adulthood without watering it guarantees it will only produce 2 Berries per harvest.
When its soil is properly watered, a single plant can yield 15 or more Berries (depending on the type).
Soil Mulches
Once you reach Hearthome City, you can purchase Mulch fertilizers from a woman at the Berry Master’s house for 200 Poké Dollars a bag.
There are four different kinds of Mulch, and Berry plants will experience different effects depending on which one you use.
The table below illustrates what each type of Mulch will do to a Berry plant:
Mulch | Effect | |
---|---|---|
Growth Mulch | Reduces the Berry plant’s growth time by 25% but makes the soil dry out 50% faster | |
Damp Mulch | Makes the soil dry out half as quickly, but increases the Berry plant’s growth time by 50% | |
Stable Mulch | Makes Berries stay on the plant 150% as long before falling off | |
Gooey Mulch | Makes Berry plants regrow from withered plants 150% of the usual number of times |
It’s important to remember that Mulch is used on a Berry Plot’s soil before you plant a Berry. If you have any type of Mulch in your Bag, interacting with bare soil will give you the option to use Mulch as a fertilizer.
The Berry Searcher Pokétch App
Another resident of the Berry Master’s home is a little girl who will give you the Berry Searcher Pokétch app.
This is a helpful tool that will alert you to any Berry Plots that have ripened Berries on them.
To receive the app, simply speak to the girl and respond “Yes” when she asks if you often forget where you’ve planted Berries.
The Berry Searcher’s display screen acts as a rudimentary map of Sinnoh.
Whenever a Berry Plant is ready to be harvested, its Plot location will be marked with a Berry icon.
This is an invaluable device for Berry gardeners: ripe Berries that go too long without being harvested are in danger of dropping off, sometimes disappearing for good.
Complete Berry List
There are 64 types of obtainable Berries in Pokémon Platinum, all of varying effects and rarity. The following table lists every Berry in the game, as well as their growth times, effects, and methods of acquisition.
Tip: Never allow your stock to reach 0 for any Berry unless you’re planting it for a later harvest, as there’s no telling when you’ll obtain another one in the game.

*Note: Almost all of Berries 53 to 64 were released strictly in limited-time distribution events. As of this writing, the only ways to obtain them now are either through trading or using hacking tools to add them to your save file.
The exception to this is the Enigma Berry.
If you have a Gen III Pokémon game and the ability to add e-Reader Berries to it, transferring one of the Berries to Platinum (via Pal Park) will change that Berry to an Enigma Berry. This will happen to all e-Reader Berries, regardless what type they started out as.
Places To Acquire Berries
To plant and grow Berries, you’ll first need to obtain at least one Berry of the type you wish to grow.
Luckily there are plenty of Berry sources to discover all over Sinnoh.
Below we’ll cover every possible location and NPC that acts as a Berry source—organized in chronological order of how soon you can access them in the game. We’ll also provide directions on how to reach each berry source.
#1: The Flower Shop Berry Girl
A girl inside Floaroma Town’s Pick a Peck of Color Flower Shop will give you a free Berry once per day.
Her Berries are of the more common varieties, but they’re highly useful, with each Berry serving as a medicine that heals either your Pokémon’s HP or adverse status conditions.
To find the Berry Girl, start by heading east from Floaroma Town’s Pokémon Center.
Turn north by the Poké Mart to enter Pick a Peck of Colors, which is the building with two Berry plots in front of it.
You’ll find the Berry Girl in the southeastern corner of the shop.
Simply speak with her and she’ll give you a random Berry for free.
#2: The Berry Master
You’ll have two Gym Badges under your belt by the time you reach the Berry Master outside of Hearthome City. But you’ll likely return to him often even later in the game.
He functions much like the Flower Shop Berry Girl in that he gives you one random Berry per day, but the list of Berries he provides is far longer and includes rarer varieties.
To reach the Berry Master, start by heading south down the street from Hearthome City’s Pokémon Center.
Head east when you reach the white picket fences.
Take the south turn by the fisherman NPC standing in the middle of the street’s intersection, then turn west at the Hearthome City sign.
Travel westward until you reach the two city gates in the southwest corner of town. Head through the one leading west to Route 208.
Enter the green-roofed house directly north from the gate on the other side.
The Berry Master is the elderly gentleman at the table.
Speak with him to receive your free daily Berry.
#3: Amity Square
The Amity Square park in Hearthome City is an excellent place to get some of the game’s more uncommon Berries, especially since it contains two Berry sources:
- Loose Berries that your partner Pokémon can find as you’re walking around the park
- And getting them from the Berries and Accessories Man.
Bear in mind that you won’t be allowed into Amity Square unless you bring a “cute” Pokémon along with you. This means you’ll need a Pokémon from the following list in your party:
Amity Park “Cute” Pokémon | ||
---|---|---|
Turtwig | Grotle | Torterra |
Chimchar | Monferno | Infernape |
Piplup | Prinplup | Empoleon |
Psyduck | Pachirisu | Drifloon |
Buneary | Happiny | Clefairy |
Pikachu | Jigglypuff | Torchic |
Shroomish | Skitty |
Getting To Amity Square (Step-by-Step)
Amity Square is split into west and east sides; while you can pick up loose Berries on either side, you’ll only find the Berry and Accessories Man in the eastern section.
To reach the eastern side of Amity Park, start by heading east from Hearthome City’s Pokémon Center.
Turn north when you reach the Gym, then continue heading east to move behind it.
Enter the colorfully-decorated building to your north—this is the eastern section of Amity Square.
Head through the entrance hall and into the Square itself. A clerk at the front desk will stop you to make sure you’ve brought a Pokémon from the above list.
From here, you can start collecting Berries using the following two methods.
The Berry and Accessories Man
Around the eastern section of Amity Square is a man who is so enthusiastic about this area that he shows up every day to clean the place for free.
During this obsessive cleaning ritual, the man is always picking up discarded items—Berries and fashion accessories—that he finds around the facility.
He will gladly share these items with you for free if you talk to him.
The Berry and Accessories Man shows up in a random area every day. To reach him, enter the large rock huts you find around the Square.
Inside each hut are three unseen warp tiles to the east, west, and north. The warp tiles to the east and west lead to the less accessible huts in the Square; the ones to the north will move you closer to the entrance.
Just take the left or right warp tiles until you find the overalls-wearing Berry and Accessories Man standing around.
Speak to him and he will mention an item he found while cleaning up the park, which he will then offer to you.
You can either accept the offer or turn it down. If you decline the offer, you can exit Amity Square and re-enter it to reset the item.
This NPC will only give you one type of item per day, so you can use this reset method until he offers something you want.
Loose Berries
For every 200 steps you take inside Amity Square, your partner Pokémon will find a random accessory or Berry.
The game will not alert you when a Pokémon finds an item, nor will the Pokémon be holding the item in its held item slot.
To check for an item you’ll need to speak to your Pokémon directly.
If your Pokémon has an item, it will then hand it to you.
This is a great way to obtain some of the more uncommon Berries if you have some time to spare, especially since it’s one of the only methods that can be repeated multiple times a day.
Note: The Pedometer Pokétch app is the perfect tool for counting your steps while inside Amity Square.
#4: The Veilstone Department Store
If you don’t want to rely on getting random daily Berries from strangers, you can always visit the Department Story in Veilstone City and buy an unlimited number of them—of a few types, anyway.
The Department Store is the massive pink and orange building that lies a short walk northwest of the Veilstone Pokémon Center.
Once you’re inside, head down the escalator to reach the basement.
The clerk at the basement floor’s southwest counter is the Berry seller.
She doesn’t carry a wide variety of Berries. But what she does have is somewhat uncommon. They’re also cheap, at just 20 Poké Dollars per Berry.
Most importantly, you can buy up to 999 of each type.
#5: The Pastoria Berry Woman
Once you reach Pastoria City at around the game’s midpoint, you’ll be able to visit a woman whose pastime is hiking around and collecting Berries. And like many NPCs you’ve met so far, she will give you one Berry per day.
To find this woman, start from Pastoria City’s Pokémon Center and head south.
Move southward through the town until you reach the Poké Mart, then move west.
Enter the brown-roofed house in the southwestern corner of town.
You’ll find the Berry Woman sitting at the table.
Speak to her to receive your free daily Berry.
This is one of the best places to get rare Berries in the game, so you might want to make a point to visit this woman every day.
#6: The Battle Frontier (Scratch-Off Cards)
Once you’ve beaten the game and entered the Pokémon League Hall of Fame, you’ll be able to win exceptionally rare Berries by playing Scratch-Off games at the Battle Frontier.
To find the Scratch-Off Card seller, head to the Fight Area and enter the Battle Frontier to the northeast of the Pokémon Center.
Cut through the entrance hall and enter the door to the north.
Keep going north through the Exchange Service Corner marketplace.
You’ll find the Scratch-Off Card seller at the top-left stand with the green and white canopy.
The price for three Scratch-Off Cards is one BP (Battle Point).
Note: Save the game before buying Scratch-Off Cards—BP are too valuable to waste them gambling.
Then the clerk will have you pick the three Cards from a selection of four different Card colors.
After that, the game will start.
The top half of a Scratch-Off Card shows the list of prizes you can win, with each prize paired with a different Pokémon image. The bottom half shows 9 silver rectangles.
The object of the game is to “scratch off” (by rubbing the touch screen) the silver parts of three rectangles to uncover the images underneath.
If you uncover three images of the same Pokémon, you will win the prize indicated on the top half of the Card.
Note: Dittos are wild; if you uncover one, it will transform to another Pokémon you’ve uncovered to help you complete a match.
Once you’ve played all three Cards, the clerk will award you all of your prizes at once.
#7: Wild Pokémon Holding Berries
Many wild Pokémon carry Berries as held items. The likelihood of encountering a Pokémon holding a Berry is slim—usually 5%—but you can vastly improve your odds by using an item-farming team during your search.
Employing one of these specialized parties will help you in the following ways:
- The Compoundeyes Ability will raise the chance that a wild Pokémon is carrying a Berry from 5% to 20%
- The Frisk Ability will alert you whenever one of the Pokémon has a Berry in its held item slot
- Stealing moves like Thief or Trick will help you grab the Berry quickly without having to waste Poké Balls or take up Box space
To find out which wild Pokémon carry which Berries, check the table in the Complete Berry List section above.
All Berry Plot Locations
You’ve got the tools, the Berries, and the knowledge.
Now you just need to maximize your harvests by planting in as many Berry Plots as you can find.
There are 118 total Berry Plots in the Sinnoh region, all separated in groups of 2 or 4 and spread out over 35 rows. Some of these Plots will be instantly noticeable as you progress through the game—others, however, lie in remote locations and take a little effort to reach.
Below is a list of all the game’s Berry Plots and directions for finding them.
Floaroma Town
Total Plots: 2
Requirements: None
You can’t miss these first Berry Plots; they sit right out in front of the Floaroma Town’s Pick a Peck of Colors Flower Shop in order to be as conspicuous as possible.
Fuego Ironworks
Total Plots: 4
Requirements: Surf
You won’t be able to reach these until you’ve defeated Crasher Wake for the Fen Badge and obtained HM03 Surf in Celestic Town.
This is one of the more hidden Berry rows in the game, and you’d be forgiven for passing by it unaware.
To reach it, start by Flying to Floaroma Town and head east on the main road.
Leave Floaroma Town through the eastern entrance and continue east on Route 205.
When you arrive at the bridge leading north to Eterna City, use Surf at the left edge and head west up the river.
Stay on course as the river curves to the north.
Ignore the clearing to the east as you continue traveling north.
Turn westward with the riverbend.
Head west until you reach two boulders, and the four Berry Plots will be directly north of you.
Route 205
The area immediately past Floaroma Town has the most Berry Plots of any in the game, with 12 Plots spread out over 4 rows.
We’ll cover each of these plots below.
Row 1
Total Plots: 2
Requirements: None
This is an unmissable Plot row, and you’ll find these two Plots above you as you head eastward from Floaroma Town and approach the Valley Windworks.
Row 2
Total Plots: 2
Requirements: None
As you head north through Route 205 toward Eterna Forest, you’ll find these two Plots to the east of a bridge.
Row 3
Total Plots: 4
Requirements: Cut
This spot is fairly easy to miss. After you have defeated Leader Gardenia and taught HM01 Cut to a Pokémon, backtrack to the Eterna Forest—but don’t enter it.
Instead, take the path to the south of the Forest until you find a couple of trees you can cut down. Follow this shortcut to the southwest and you’ll find four Berry Plots amid some trees.
Row 4
Total Plots: 4
Requirements: None
These Plots are easy to find; just head west out of Eterna City and turn northward once you’re outside the city limits.
The Plots are just a few steps to the northwest of a Honey Tree.
Route 206
Route 206 contains two Berry Plot rows, each with two Plots.
Row 1
Total Plots: 2
Requirements: Cut
You’ll see this spot to the west of Cycling Road’s middle point. To access it, use Cut on the trees at Cycling Road’s southeastern end and work your way northwest under the overpass.

This row lies to the south of Solaceon Town, just a short walk from the Lost Tower.
Solaceon Town
Total Plots: 4
Requirements: None
These four Berry Plots are unmissable—they’re right next to Solaceon Town’s Poké Mart.
Route 210
Route 210 is one of the longest Routes in the game. And its two rows of Berry Plots are located at opposite ends of the route.
Row 1
Total Plots: 4
Requirements: None
This row of four Berry Plots lies just a brief walk to the north of Solaceon Town, east of the Route 210/Solaceon Town sign.
Row 2
Total Plots: 4
Requirements: None
The second row of Berry Plots is at the opposite end of Route 210 from the first row. Head east from Celestic Town to enter Route 210, and climb the stairs immediately to your north to reach the Plots.
Route 211
Total Plots: 4
Requirements: None
If you leave Celestic Town through the western entrance, you’ll find another row of Plots next to the Route 211/Celestic Town sign.
Route 212
Route 212 connects Pastoria City to Hearthome City and is about as long as Route 210. It contains three rows of Berry Plots.
Row 1
Total Plots: 2
Requirements: None
You’ll find this short row of Plots by exiting Hearthome City through the southern gate, then moving straight southward until you reach Gentleman Jeremy and Socialite Reina.
Row 2
Total Plots: 2
Requirements: Surf
If you head south from the Pokémon Mansion, you can find this Berry row by Surfing across the nearest pond.
Row 3
Total Plots: 4
Requirements: None
These Plots are very easy to find. Simply head out of Pastoria City through the southwestern entrance and you’ll come across this row just before entering the marshland.
Pastoria City
Total Plots: 4
Requirements: None
These four Berry Plots sit right in the middle of town, directly behind the Move Reminder’s house.
Route 213

The only Plots on Route 213 are just a short walk to the east of Pastoria City.
Route 214
Total Plots: 4

This row of four Berry Plots is easily reached by exiting Veilstone City through the south gate and skirting the pond to the east.
Route 215
Route 215 connects Route 210 and Veilstone City. It contains two Berry rows, each containing two plots.
Row 1
Total Plots: 2
Requirements: Cut
You’ll notice these Berry Plots as you travel east from the Café Cabin on your way to Veilstone City. They’re nestled in a small enclosure amid the trees of Route 215, and you’ll need a Pokémon with Cut to access them.
Row 2
Total Plots: 2

These two impossible-to-miss Plots lie just west of Veilstone City’s western entrance gate.
Route 218
Total Plots: 4
Requirements: None
You’ll find this Plot row a short distance to the east of Canalave City, right next to a Honey Tree.
Route 221
Total Plots: 4

These four Berry Plots are tucked into a grassy area just a short walk to the southwest of Pal Park.
Route 222
Total Plots: 4
Requirements: None
These four Plots will remain inaccessible until you have access to Sunyshore City late in the game.
You’ll find them on the northern edge of Route 222, a fair distance west of Sunyshore.
Route 224
Total Plots: 4
Requirements: Surf, Waterfall, Rock Climb, Defog (recommended), Strength (if this is your first visit to Route 224)
These are by far the most inconvenient Berry Plots in all of Sinnoh. Route 224 is the only Route that leads to a dead end, and the only way to reach it is by going through Victory Road after obtaining the National Pokédex.
There are no nearby places to Fly to in order to shorten the trip, so you’re in for a long voyage every time you want to check on the Berries you grow here. You might want to stock up on Full Restores, Escape Ropes, and Max Repels before making this trip.
To reach these Plots, Fly to the Pokémon League and head outside to ride down the waterfall to the south.
Step ashore, then enter Victory Road to the southeast.
Once inside, head southward down the wide corridor at the entrance.
Cross the bridge to the south and use Rock Climb to descend the rocky wall.
When you’re on the ground, head to the west, then turn north to pass under the bridge.
Make a left turn at the Veteran trainer, head up the stairs behind him, and cross the bridge to the southeast. Move eastward.
Pass eastward under the next bridge and through the newly-accessible entrance to the next cave chamber.
Climb down the staircase in here and head northeast.
Descend the staircase and head through the next doorway.
If this is your first time passing through this section of Victory Road, Marley will accompany you at this point and you will be unable to use Surf. In this case, you will need to take the longer route to the north.
Otherwise, use Surf on the water to the east.
Surf northward and disembark at the square-shaped patch of land to the east.
Climb down the staircase and head southward.
Circle around the rectangular lake and head north, passing the two Ace Trainers.
Wind your way through the stone maze heading towards the east.
Head eastward until you can climb down some stairs above you. Then use Surf across the lake here.
Step ashore, then head north and Surf across yet another small lake.
Step back on land, head up the stairs to the north, and take the exit to your right.
In this new area, head up the long staircase and head through the entryway at the top.
Outside on Route 224, turn northward and descend the staircase.
Continue northward past Ace Trainer Ruben.
Head north and take a left turn into the forest.
Follow the winding path through the trees around to the northern staircase, then head east.
Head eastward to the end of the raised plateau and you’ll find the row of Berry Plots at the very end.
Route 225
Total Plots: 4
Requirements: Cut
This row of 4 Berry Plots lies directly west of the Survival Area. You won’t be able to reach it until after you’ve entered the Hall of Fame and received the National Pokédex, but the Plots are easy enough to spot.
Bring a Pokémon with Cut along with you to enter the enclosure.
Fight Area
Total Plots: 4
Requirements: None
The Fight Area is the home of the Battle Frontier, and you can only reach it after you enter the Pokémon League Hall of Fame and take a ship from Snowpoint City.
After that, it becomes one of the easiest rows of Berry Plots to access: it’s located just a few steps to the west of the Fight Area’s Pokémon Center.
Route 226
Total Plots: 4
Requirements: Rock Climb
The four Plots on Route 226 are found high in the mountains directly east of the Survival Area.
Simply leave the Survival Area heading eastward and use Rock Climb on the first two rocky walls you come across.
Resort Area
Total Plots: 4
Requirements: None
Your free Resort Area Villa (east of the Resort Area Pokémon Center) will come equipped with two Berry Plots on either side.
Route 228
Total Plots: 4
Requirements: None
As you make your way up the sandstorm-battered terrain of Route 228, you can access four more Berry Plots by riding your Bicycle up the muddy slope by the pond.
Route 229
Total Plots: 4
Requirements: None
These four Plots are located on the eastern side of Route 229, north of your Resort Area Villa.
To access it, head north from the Resort Area. Then circle around the trees going towards the east, and then finally turn to head southward.
Route 230
Total Plots: 4
Requirements: None
The Berry Plots on Route 230 lie a short distance to the east of the Fight Area. You’ll see this soil patch just before the waterway that leads to the Resort Area.
