Copper Ore is a mineable material in Spiritfarer. You’ll find copper ore from mining ore on three different islands, and this ore can be turned into copper ingots via the Foundry.

Where To Mine Copper Ores

Here are all of the islands where copper ore can be mined:

  • 1 mining node at Greenhalten Bay (X: -8, Y: 75)
  • 1 mining node at Mount Toroyama (X: -99, Y: 34)
  • 1 mining node at Iwashima Countryside (X: -64, Y: 16)
  • The floating crates scattered across the Furogawa Region

To mine this metal, simply approach a node and start the mining mini-game. Here’s how:

Hold the interact button and watch as Stella turns the everlight into a pickaxe and raises it. Then once the pickaxe is shining, let go to hit the node.

Do this several times until you mine the material.

Note that holding the pickaxe for too long will result in it exploding and you will have to start the minigame again.

Once you mine all of the nodes in each of these islands, just leave and wait for a couple of in-game days until they refresh.

Growing Copper Nodes

Once you have copper ore in your inventory and have unlocked any of the Turtle Sisters, you can use the plots of land on their shells to plant more copper nodes for farming. This is especially helpful if you don’t want to visit any of the islands again and again to keep mining.

To make copper ingots, you will need the Foundry. This requires:

  • 10 Coals
  • 10 Oak Planks

Once the Foundry is built, here’s how to make copper ingots.

Step 1: Head inside and interact with the furnace in the middle to place Coal inside. You can put as many as you like.

Step 3: After confirming the items, a minigame will start.

Interact with the bellows on each side in an alternating manner to push the needle up to the designated temperature. Make sure the indicator remains inside the temperature to stop overheating.

Step 4: Once the thermometer fills up, the ingots will fall into the basket at the right, and you can collect them there. Repeat as much as you need.
