“The Real Spiritfarer” is a shenanigan side quest that only takes around 10 minutes to complete. It’s one of the newer Shenanigans added to the game, and you can start it on the island of Overbrook.

Starting the Shenanigan

Before heading out, make sure you have the Mist Cleaner 1000 Boat Improvement. If not then you’ll need to head towards Albert’s Shipyard (X: 61, Y: 64) to get the upgrade.

Note: If you want to fast-track this process then our boat improvement guide offers a step-by-step guide on how to get all of the required materials.

After getting the upgrade, make your way towards the island of Overbrook, located at (X: 212, Y: 56).

Once you arrive there, head right going past the water to find another island.

Talk to the spirit and he will immediately tell you that he’s actually the real Spiritfarer.

Unfortunately he lost his own Everlight in the waters around the island, and he will ask for your help to find it.

After that, head back to your ship and start fishing for a lightbulb (the spirit’s “everlight”) while still docked in Overbrook.

Once you have it, simply head back to the spirit and give it to him to end this shenanigan request.
