Chars are large-sized fish that can be caught and cooked in Spiritfarer. This fish can only be caught in the winter side of the Hummingberg region, which requires the Icebreaker Boat Improvement to reach.

As an ingredient, Char can be used to make 5 different fish-related dishes.

Where to Catch Char

Chars can only be caught in the winter side of Hummingberg.

Chars can only be caught by playing the fishing minigame. Here’s how:

Just sit at the back of your ship and Stella will automatically cast a line in the water.

After you get a bite, hold the interact button to start reeling in the fish. However, watch the line and pause from reeling when it turns red to avoid snapping it.

As for Char’s location, the only place to catch Char is in the winter side of the Hummingberg region. This is north on the map just past the ice wall.
