Nordsee Pier is an island found on the icy side of Spiritfarer’s Hummingberg Region. It requires the Icebreaker boat improvement to reach, and you’ll find a handful of rare chests here.

How To Unlock

Since Nordsee Pier is in Hummingberg’s winter side, you will need to get the Icebreaker boat improvement from Albert’s Shipyard.

This upgrade needs:

  • 10 Iron Ingots
  • 12 Oak Planks
  • 18 Linen Fabrics
  • 1 Spirit Flower
  • 5 Slates
  • 800 Glims

This upgrade not only unlocks Nordsee Pier, but also unlocks the rest of the islands in that winter region.

Nordsee Pier Chests

There are a variety of treasure chests to find in Nordsee Pier. But to reach them all you’ll need to have unlocked these abilities:

After you have all of the abilities above, here’s where to find each of the island’s chests:

Chest #1

Contains:

  • 1 Old Coin Collection (Can be sold for Glims)

Step 1: Starting from the island’s docks, keep walking right until you reach the other end of the small island.

Step 2: From there, you’ll find a glowing spot in the water.

Step 3: Dive into the glowing spot to get your treasure.

Chest #2

Contains:

  • 1 Antique Bust

Step 1: Go up to the island again and head back left from the glowing spot in the water.

Head left until you find a crooked house with a short blue spirit standing beside it.

Step 2: From that house you’ll want to face right and jump onto the landing above (with the lighthouse on it).

Step 3: From there, walk right until you find a house roof with a treasure chest.

Chest #3

Contains:

Step 1: From the last chest at the roof of the crooked house, walk to the base of the lighthouse.

Then double jump up on its ledges.

Step 2: Keep platforming until you find a ladder – then climb it up.

Step 3: Climb the ladder to a small wooden balcony, then double jump to your left to find the chest on another wooden balcony.

Chest #4

Contains:

Step 1: From the ledge with Chest #3 above, double jump up to climb some more – keep going up until you reach the top of the lighthouse.

Step 2: Then double jump and glide towards your left. Hold this until you land on the far-left of the island, where another chest is located on a different tilted lighthouse.

Step 3: Land on the lighthouse when you see it & you’ll find the chest on the right-hand side.

Chest #5

Contains:

  • 1 Miniature Diorama
  • 1 Metal Rope

Step 1: From the lighthouse that has Chest #4, you should see a zipline. Hop on the zipline and ride it towards the right – this should bring you all the way back to the ledge of the larger lighthouse.

Alternatively if you’re already elsewhere on the island, then just make your way to the larger lighthouse and climb to the top.

Step 2: Make sure you climb up to the very top of the big lighthouse (the one that had Chest #3 on it – if you need directions here then follow Chest #3 above).

Step 3: Dash towards the right and glide until you find another platform.

You might need to dash again in mid-air to reach it.

Step 4: You’ll find this chest at the top of a platform, along with a blue spirit standing nearby.
